How have I grown as a writer? I would say life experience is always the best way to improve my writing skill. I tried to be sensitive to people or things, tired to feel the same way as they may feel so that I can write them down. Sometimes watching movies and reading books are also important to accumulate knowledge.
In the past I was never going to say I know how to write an essay even though I have many ideas and some critical thinking. This year I’m taking English 1A. I learned a lot of writing skills such as grammar, structure, and the use of punctuations. I thought I knew English grammar, but when I did the essays I still had some errors. I also learned how to emphasize on the stuff I want to describe. I can feel I have done better every time I compose a new essay. Basically this class makes me realize writing is an important ability.
I will continue writing my story, my thoughts, and my perspective of life. I think literature is unlimited. I can improve my writing skill forever.
